I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! is back for the 2022 series. The popular ITV series has returned to Australia after a two-year stint in Wales due to the continued uncertainty around Covid-19 and international travel.
The launch show kicked off on Sunday, November 6 as 10 new contestants were introduced to viewers for the first time and made their way to the various camps, one in the jungle and the other on an isolated beach. Those in the original line-up this year include Chris Moyles, Charlene White, Babatunde Aleshe, Jill Scott, Boy George, Mike Tindall, Sue Cleaver, Scarlette Douglas and Owen Warner.
Love Island star Olivia Attwood was also a part of the original line-up and launch show but ITV has since confirmed she has left the show after undergoing some medical checks. You can read more on this here.

Millions tuned into the first episode of I'm A Celebrity, including consumer champion Martin Lewis, who took to Twitter after taking issue with one thing during the launch show. The founder of Money Saving Expert addressed his 1.9 million followers after watching the instalment.
The GMB presenter slammed contestants who claim they "don’t know" what they’re doing on the show, saying the comment left him "rolling his eyes". He wrote: "I do roll my eyes when I hear 'I don't know what I'm doing here' on #ImACeleb. It's an entertainment TV booking. You're on there for one or more of... 1) a paycheque 2) to boost your profile 3) to rehabilitate your image. Simples."
Martin was also asked if he'd do the show himself, to which he explained he'd turned down the offer multiple times. "Nope," he responded to a fan's question. "Said no more than once." For more showbiz and television stories get our newsletter here.
