Millions of households around the UK are going to be feeling the squeeze after energy prices went up by 54 per cent on Friday.
On top of this, fuel prices are higher than normal and the cost of food is also on the rise.
Reports suggest that one in four people will be unable to to pay their bills come October as another price cap rise is expected.
