Martin Lewis issues two-day warning for those wanting to claim free £175

You have just two days to get up to £175 for free just by switching banks, according to money expert Martin Lewis.

The ECHO reports that banks often use payments as an incentive for new customers to switch. HSBC is currently offering new customers who switch to using them for their HSBC Advance current account a £175 bonus.

However, savers will need to meet certain criteria in order to qualify. For instance, only those who haven’t had an HSBC current account, or opened one with First Direct, since January 2019 will be eligible for the offer.
