Martin Lewis has issued a huge car finance claim update as he revealed the payout could be on same scale as the PPI scandal.
The financial guru revealed earlier this year how a percentage of car finance deals before 28 January 2021 had “discretionary commission arrangements”, allowing dealers to change interest offered to customers and increase their commission.
This launched a major investigation into whether people could be owed compensation.
Appearing on Good Morning Britain on Wednesday (13 November), Mr Lewis revealed the regulator has now widened its car finance probe, meaning anyone who has had car finance may be eligible for a payout.
