Martin Lewis has issued a message to the new Chancellor of the Exchequer, Jeremy Hunt.
It was today announced Mr Hunt, who has previously held the titles of Foreign Secretary and Health Secretary will replace Kwasi Kwarteng after he was dramatically sacked by Prime Minister Liz Truss today.
Ms Truss removed her ideological ally from his post after just five weeks. The sacking comes after Mr Kwarteng's shock budget announcement last month led to widespread economic chaos.

Mr Kwarteng was summoned home early from a trip to the United States today to be told he was being removed. The news means that Mr Kwarteng is the second shortest-serving UK chancellor on record. The shortest was Iain Macleod, who died of a heart attack 30 days after taking the job in 1970.
Money Saving Expert founder Martin Lewis has welcomed conversation with the government in recent months, as he has tried to make things easier for people struggling amid the worsening cost of living crisis.
On Friday, he took to Twitter to deliver a message to the new Chancellor. Mr Lewis said: "Congratulations and good luck to Jeremy Hunt. It's an incredibly difficult task facing him.
"But we have to hope he can deliver - this isn't just a cost of living crisis - its a quality of people's life issue."
Responding to the tweet, one Twitter user said: "We all know how well he did at health...", while another said: "Hope he steers us ever nearer to General elections". A third added: "Looking absolutely terrified in that photo, and who can blame him".
