Martin Lewis is urging people to prepare for this winter as energy bills are predicted to rise further.
Speaking out on Friday, the money saving expert said we are "heading for a very bleak winter" although it "doesn't feel it now." Appearing on Good Morning Britain, he added that energy bills are predicted to soar by October.
Speaking live on TV, he said: "Let's be under no uncertain terms, what we are facing is potentially cataclysmic, we are talking about millions, if not 10 million people moving into real poverty this winter. The worst winter we have seen, maybe since the 1970s."
