Martin Lewis has confirmed that he'll be taking a lengthy break from Good Morning Britain and his announcement reduced viewers to tears. The Money Saving Expert founder is usually seen co-hosting the show with Susanna Reid.
He became part of the show's roster of male hosts taking on the main gig following Piers Morgan's exit in March 2021. However, in recent months Martin has not only been hosting the show but also taking part in 'Money Mondays' as he answered viewers questions and offered his important advice amid the cost of living crisis.
During Wednesday's edition of the ITV new programme, on December 14, Martin appeared in the main seat alongside Kate Garraway where he again offered viewers' advice and co-hosted the show. But just as the latest installment came to an end, the 50-year-old confirmed it would be his last stint for a while.
