Martin Lewis apologised for a mistake as he issued an important message.
The consumer champion returned to ITV's flagship daytime programme for the first time since Phillip Schofield dramatically quit ITV. Tuesday's episode was fronted by Holly Willoughby and Josie Gibson.
They started the episode with an interview with a carer to mark National Carer's Week. Martin appeared on the show after the segment to dish out important financial advice.

However, the 51-year-old was inspired by the opening segment to deliver some off-the-cuff-advice. He said: "Can I stop you. I was listening to you talking about carers week. There are 500,000 carers eligible who are missing out on carers' allowance."
Martin later clarified the message as he explained he got some of the figures incorrect. He told followers on Twitter: "I COCKED UP SORRY.
"When bringing up carers allowance on the fly just now urging the 500,000 carers missing out to check if they're due it - I said it was worth £4,000 a year, but then mistakenly £140 a week (I verbally transposed it with the max you can earn to get it, £140/wk).
"Carers allowance is £77/wk I'm so sorry. It should be £140/wk but isn't. Still the big message is if you're a carer and care over 35hours a week check if you're due it. If not check if you're due carers national insurance credits which can boost your state pension."
Josie and Holly later read out the message on air.
