Manchester United could be on the verge of adding a goalkeeper to their squad to challenge David de Gea.
Since the first few days of Erik ten Hag's time at Old Trafford, United have had limited options between the sticks. Substitute 'keeper Dean Henderson was loaned out to Nottingham Forest at the beginning of pre-season as he searched for regular game time.
De Gea has been relatively unchallenged for his number one spot with Tom Heaton the only other option. However, with De Gea's performances coming into question in the opening stages of the campaign, it has become clear that a new 'keeper was needed to provide competition.

It is expected that Dubravka will be that man and the 33-year-old Slovakian is thought to be keen on a move to Manchester. Should he join, there is debate as to which number he would take.
On the surface, it would seem like number 13 is the most likely choice for the shot-stopper. It is often the number chosen by second-choice 'keepers and is available.
However, earlier in his career, Dubravka adorned the number 30 shirt at two clubs MSK Zilina and Esbjerg fB. With this number available, he could choose to give a nod back to the early stages of his career.
Traditionally number 1 is the jersey of choice for a 'keeper but with that obviously unavailable he may choose alternative numbers ending in one; 21, 31 or 41. Other numbers available to Dubravka include; 3, 15, 24, 26, 27, 32, 35, 40, 42, 45, 46, 48 and 50.
