Martin Compston has been confirmed in the starting line-up for Soccer Air 2022, as part of a World XI among stars like Patrice Evra and Usain Bolt.
The Scottish actor posted the update to his Instagram account on Tuesday morning, writing: "Absolutely buzzing to be back this year at @socceraid for @unicef_uk on June 12th!
"Pinch myself every time I’m asked to be part of this incredible event. We’re at the London Stadium this year where big @usainbolt did some of his finest work hopefully see ye there, tickets link in story!"

The Line of Duty star was a part of last year's winning World XI, that raised a record-breaking £13,014,769 for UNICEF’s work keeping children around the world, happy, healthy and able to play.
Martin's side, which included the likes of musician Tom Grennan, Usain Bolt and Roberto Carlos, won the game 3-0.
Fans flocked to Martin's comments section to cheer him on, with one excited user writing: "Best news ever! I have my tickets, so glad to be cheering you on again. I will have my Scotland flag ready again."
Another said: "This makes me so happy. Come on Team Compston!"
And fellow World XI star and Love Island boy Kem Cetinay wrote: "Yesssssssss!", alongside some flame emojis.
