Martin Boyle is on his way BACK to HIbs after Al-Faisaly 'approved' an offer submitted from the capital club for the attacker.
The Easter Road outfit sold their star man earlier this year in what was describe at the time as a life-changing move for the Australia international. The Hibees always held first option to bring him back to the club should the opportunity present itself and now Lee Johnson has moved to bring the fans' favourite back to Leith as part of his major summer overhaul.
He will join the likes of Aiden McGeady, Jair Tavares and David Marshall at the club with his return likely to hand both the supporters and players a major boost ahead of the new campaign. An opening day win was picked up at St Johnstone with a capital derby next on the agenda tomorrow against city rivals Hearts. A statement from Al-Faisaly read: "The club management approved the offer submitted by the Scottish club Hibernian regarding the transfer of the Australian first-team football player “Martin Boyle”, wishing him more success and success."

Hibs also confirmed an agreement had been reached with a short statement. It read: "We can confirm that Hibernian FC has come to an agreement with Al-Faisaly FC for the transfer of Martin Boyle.
"We will announce Boyle back to the Hibernian FC faithful on Sunday ahead of our game against Hearts, so make sure you arrive 15 minutes early.
"Further information regarding the transfer and Boyle’s contract will be revealed to supporters in due course.
"Everyone at Hibernian FC is delighted to see Boyle return to the club!"
Chief executive Ben Kensell wrote on LinkedIn: "So proud to be able to bring Martin Boyle back to the club where he belongs. This move is massive for the club, for the fans and shows that we will do everything we can to bring success to Hibernian FC. Welcome back Boyler. You're a star man."
