Wet Wet Wet's former lead singer Marti Pellow delighted Scottish fans last night with a stellar performance.
Marti took to the stage at Glasgow's Royal Concert Hall, adding on social media 'it was nice to be home'.
The singer, who is currently on his Greatest Hits Tour, posted a video listening to the bagpipes on his social media pages.
In the video, he is listening to bagpipes and says: "Aye, clearly in Scotland. Looking forward to playing Glasgow tonight.
"See you tonight, Glasgow, cannae wait!"
Afterwards, the Love Is All Around singer, praised his home city on social media, writing: "Well Glasgow, it was nice to be home.
"You never fail to disappoint and tonight was no different.
"Such an amazing audience.
"Thank you to each and every one of you for coming out tonight."
Fans who attended the gig rushed online as well to welcome the singer back after a stellar performance.
One fan tweeted: "What an amazing night, as always. Takes me back everytime as a young girl listening to you and going to our first gigs. Just such a special person. And such an amazing band... can't wait till next time xxx"
"Incredible. What a show, what an atmosphere, what a performance. Loved every second and clearly you enjoyed yourself too! Look forward to Guildford and Leicester ahead Pellow Talk. Thank you for a fabulous night," penned another.
Another wrote: "Amazing night what a showman @martiofficial is & always has been..think he enjoyed himself tonight just as much as we did.. definitely takes me back to my teenage years...love to love Marti"
"Fantastic night. My first gig of yours and had an amazing time with you and the fab band. Looking forward to seeing you again in my home town... The one with the castle," a fifth wrote.
