The strangest cloud on Mars appears to be even weirder than we thought, scientists have said.

For years, scientists have been interested in the Arsia Mons Elongated Cloud, or AMEC. It is particularly visually striking: it stretches over 1,800 kilometres, growing and fading each morning.
