Former NFL running back Marshawn Lynch is never one to hold back when it comes to his opinion. The former Buffalo Bills, Seattle Seahawks and Oakland Raiders running back we ton the I am Athlete podcast and was asked to name his top five running backs in the NFL right now.
Lynch included Pittsburgh Steelers running back in his top five along with Saquon Barkley, Josh Jacobs, Derrick Henry and Nick Chubb. That is a very strong group to be mentioned above. Harris bounced back from a rough first half of the season to finish as one of the more productive backs in the league in the final nine games.
Harris finished with 1,073 rushing yards after racking up 1,200 yards in his rookie season. Harris and Jaylen Warren formed a productive tandem in 2022 and both backs should improve on their numbers in 2023.
