US rep Brandon Gill is facing extreme heat online for his comment on hiring Indians at 7-Eleven stores in the US. In a video that is quickly gaining traction on X (formerly Twitter), Gill said the idea that America would bring a 7-Eleven worker from India or anywhere else on the globe to work at a gas station, because there was a lack of Americans ready to do the job was "asinine" and "idiotic."
"We don't need to import 7-Eleven workers from India or anywhere across the globe. Hire Americans," he wrote in the caption of the post while sharing the video.
