An office worker says she contracted a sexual disease after a janitor peed in her water bottle.
In a shocking clip, the janitor is seen cleaning the offices of a doctor’s surgery when he spots the woman's bottle on a table.
Authorities in Texas say what he did next with the bottle is disgusting and was even caught on camera.
Local news channel ABC13 reports the alleged victim is a married mother of two daughters who didn’t want to be named. Her face was blurred when she spoke with the channel.
She told them she has been infected with an incurable sexually transmitted disease after the janitor tainted the water bottle at her office.
The US outlet said Lucio Diaz, 50, has now been charged with indecent assault and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Both charges are related to the same victim.
"This individual is a sick man," the 54-year-old victim, who did not want to be identified, told ABC13.
It seems to have started in August when the office water dispenser appeared to be tainted and the woman started to bring in her own water.
But then in September, that too seemed wrong.
The channel said court records show a urinalysis confirmed it and a spy camera she bought in seems to confirm her worst fears.
She told the channel: “He pulls out his penis and proceeds to stick his penis in to my water, probably I would say half way in and then he tilted the bottle back and basically rinses his penis in my water."
“I was very, very scared and thought ‘what if he has a disease?’”
Further testing brought devastating news.
"I learned I acquired (a sexually-transmitted disease) for which he also tested positive for," she said. "He gave me an STD I will have for the rest of my life. Nothing is going to change it. Nothing will make it better for me. In fact, I feel like, for the rest of my life, I will have to be careful."
The TV station says court records show the Mexican national is in Immigration and Customs Enforcement custody while his immigration and work status are confirmed.
Meanwhile, the alleged victim claimed Diaz continued to work at the building even after management was notified.
Her attorney Kim Spurlock told the station: “They have a duty to protect their tenants, and they wholly failed in those responsibilities."
The building's owner, Altera Fund Advisors, responded with a statement from CEO Terry Quinn which says: “Our management company immediately cooperated with the police department in this matter as soon as we were made aware of this potential issue by our tenant. They were advised by the police to not alert or approach the alleged perpetrator so that he could be arrested. He was arrested when he returned to the building."
Investigators with HPD's Major Offenders Division believe more people have been infected and say Diaz could face more charges.
The woman told ABC13: “I want this to go to trial. I want him to be exposed for who he is, and I want him to pay for what he's done to me and then be deported."
