Married at First Sight UK's Adrian says two other couples 'wife-swapped' after the show

Married At First Sight UK may be over for 2022, but it seems the drama may have continued off-screen. Adrian Sanderson has claimed there were two more couple swaps after the show wrapped filming.

Viewers were shocked during the E4 series when Matt Murray and Whitney Hughes decided to ditch the bride and groom they were originally matched with by the experts and hook up. The pair stayed in the experiment and insisted they were in love, before revealing during the penultimate episode that they had split up.

However, it seems there may have been more couple swaps after the cameras stopped rolling. The bombshell claim was dropped by Adrian, who went live on Instagram for a Q&A during the first reunion show, which aired on Monday, October 17.

Adrian, who was married to Thomas Hartley on the series, was joined by his fellow co-stars Sophie Brown, Duka Cav and Chanita Stephenson to answer questions from E4 viewers. And the group wasted no time getting stuck into juicy questions, reports OK! Online.

Chanita read one out which said: "Have there been any more couple swaps since the show?"

And while she quickly answered by saying "no," there was some giggling in the group before Chanita, 29, quipped: "Adrian, who are you swapping with?"

Adrian, 37, then clarified: "I think that there has been [couple swaps]... There has been."

A shocked Chanita replied: "Who? You can't just say that."

Adrian then said: "I thought it was common knowledge so I'm now confused and you're confused or are you all pretending you don't know what I know?"

When Chanita asked if it involved anyone on the Live, Adrian replied: "I'm not giving anything away. I didn't know I was the only one who had the tea!"

"Maybe it's not true, I didn't get it from the horse's mouth but this horse is in reverse," Adrian said, appearing to backtrack before he asserted: "There was two that did."
