Married At First Sight UK's groom Matt Murray has confirmed his new romance with fellow MAFS UK alumni star Marilyse Corrigan.
Marilyse appearance on the 2021 series was short-lived with her husband Franky Spencer as things didn’t last between them either.
Matt, 32, who appeared in the 2022 season caused a stir when he decided to end his marriage with Gemma Rose after realising he had feelings for Whitney Hughes.
The tattooed barber and PA Whitney, 31, sent sparks flying with their chemistry as they left the experiment, dumping their partners, and returned as a dating couple after permission from the experts.
Despite dropping the L-bomb after just a week of dating, Matt and Whitney's romance wasn't to last as it was revealed they had split as they reunited with the cast.
As they sat down with the experts, the pair left the door open for the potential for their romance to reignite but Matt withdrew from the rest of filming after his couch session with Whitney.
Since the series came to an end, Matt jetted off to Turkey with Marilyse, 38, sparking speculation the pair were romantically involved.
Having initially denied they were in a relationship they have confirmed they are a couple with a sweet Instagram post after saying they were not in a "wife swap".
They confirmed their courtship with one word as they posted adorable snaps to their Instagram pages.
In one, Marilyse could be seen cuddled up to the tattooed hunk as Matt gazed longingly at her.
She captioned the post: “Happpy!!” and Matt shared the personal trainer’s post to his Story, simply writing: “This.”
It comes after Marilyse defended Matt shortly after he was seen ending his romance with Gemma during a heated dinner party.
In an exclusive chat with the Mirror, the personal trainer explained: "I know he's not coming across great on the TV but I do really like him.
"I think he's got a soft side and is very to down to earth and he's a Yorkshire guy as well!"
Last year, Marilyse was matched with Franky Spencer, who became a controversial figure on the series, and was labelled 'controlling' by viewers.
Their marriage wasn't to last but the pair remained friends following their time on the experiment.
Following backlash over Franky's behaviour on the show, Marilyse insisted to the Express: "The reaction from the public was just insane, I was receiving messages after messages from women on Instagram saying to me like 'please leave him' and 'my ex was like this' and it was really awful, to be honest.
"I appreciate the women who cared about the situation but at the same time, I did feel really, really bad for Franky.
"He's a really harmless guy and it was edited for him to look the way he looked."
