Married At First Sight UK is set to finally return to our screens on Monday August 29 at 9pm.
Fans have been waiting with bated breath for the comeback of the reality show following an action-packed previous series, which changed its format following the popularity of MAFS Australia during the pandemic.
The series line-up of hopefuls looking for true love was unveiled in the days leading up to the first episode of the new season.
And now ahead of the first episode airing, The Mirror has ben given an exclusive spoiler clip – which proves the second MAFS UK instalment is set to be an explosive one.
In the clips, the brides and grooms to be sit down for their stag and hen dos before meeting their new husband or wife for the first time on their wedding day.
However, things seem to be far from blissful as personal assistant Whitney, 31, clashes with dental hygienist Jess, also 31.
As the group discuss what might happen if they don't immediately fancy their matches, Jess reasons: "When you get to know someone though, they turn fitter. Do you not think? I'm like, 'Actually you're fit'."
Whitney doesn't agree as she responds with: "I don't like that."
Speaking in a VT where Whitney is stood separate from the conversation, she tells viewers: "Why are we lowering our standards? I think I deserve the most in life so if anyone else doesn't feel that way about themselves, I don't know get a therapist, work on that."
Then, mental health case assistant Thomas, 31, who is part of one of the two LGBT couplings on the new series, asks the group: "Does anyone plan on sleeping with their husband on the first night?"
Jess responds with: "I mean, I don't give a f**k I will!," which is met with laughter from Thomas and some of the other brides.
But, Whitney is unimpressed as she says: "It's absolutely f**king not for me."
Whitney's response it met with a brief awkward silence before Thomas tells her: "I think a lot of good can come from that sometimes."
"Do you think so," Whitney asks as Thomas says yes, and she hits back with: "I don't."
Jess then has a rebuttal as she tells Whitney, "Everyone can do what they want, though. Like you can say you wouldn't and we'll say we could. But, I don't think anyone should say you should or shouldn't."
In another VT, Whitney elaborates on her opinion as she says: "What's your guy working towards if you're just like handing it over to him, what's next?"
She is then seen explaining to Jess and the group: "I just feel like, men are just... I don't know, I feel like they need to work for that s**t."
Dental hygienist Jess hits back with: "I just don't think it really matters what you want to do at the end of the day. If I want to sleep with someone on the first night it's up to me and how I feel. If you don't want to then that's you but everyone has their own opinion on it."
Whitney makes her disagreement apparent as she bows her head and puts her hand in front of her eyes before she appears to come to an agreement with Jess as she says: "I hear exactly what you're saying if you wanna sleep with your man on the first night do you babe, whatever you're comfortable with, do you. I won't be doing it."
Married At First Sight UK airs on E4 at 9pm on Monday August 29th
