Married At First Sight UK's Gemma says taking part is her 'biggest regret' as she threatens Ofcom complaint

Married at First Sight star Gemma has not had an easy ride on the show after a disastrous marriage with her husband Matt. After Gemma made sexual remarks Matt stormed off, leaving Gemma in tears, multiple times.

As episodes continue to air Gemma is becoming further frustrated at the way she is being portrayed. She has already taken to her Instagram to say she believes the show is portraying a "fake narrative" about her.

Now she has said that going on the show has been her biggest regret. In an Instagram Q&A Gemma has repeatedly answered questions saying she regrets going on the show because of the way she has been portrayed.

She said: "I regret trusting the real truth being shown" and that she would never work with the show again, Gemma said: "Never and I've cancelled all future work with them."

When asked if she could change one thing about her time on the show, she said: "Never applying, never telling them what I didn't want, never trusting they actually wanted an authentic match."

After being asked if she would go on the show again, she said: "I'd rather drink water in the Thames river" and that she "100 times yes" regrets going on the show and recommended to her followers not to apply to take part in future series. Gemma has also said she will be contacting Ofcom as she is not happy with the way the editing in the show has portrayed her.

She said: "Definitely a matter for @ofcom.org.uk that I'm going to take further, pauses that don't exist and footage used in the wrong order."

This is not the first time Married at First Sight has come under fire this series. Former bride Jess took a swipe at the matching experts, Paul C Brunson, Mel Schilling, and Charlene Douglas, as she does not believe she was paired well. She said: "I can hold my head high knowing I have been true to myself and honest throughout this experiment!! At the end of the day you can't fake it!!! Even if "experts" think they know best...you know what's best for you!"
