Married at First Sight UK's Gemma apologises to bride Morag as they as they form unlikely bond

Married at First Sight UK is packed with drama from wife swapping to hearts being broken however now two different brides from two different series have become close friends. Gemma, from the 2022 series, has thanked and apologised to Morag for misjudging her during her time on the show in 2021.

Gemma did not have an easy marriage in the 2022 series when her groom Matt cheated on her with fellow bride Whitney, leading to explosive rows and Gemma often ending up in tears. In 2021 Morag was paired with Welsh groom Luke and they struggled to make their marriage a success as Morag admitted she did not find Luke attractive.

Now Gemma has thanked Morag for being a "huge support". Posting on Instagram she said: It’s no surprise to you guys when I say this year was hard. But one constant for me is you @morag_moo You’ve helped me in every struggle I’ve had after mafs and made me see positivity in everything. Thank you for coming to see the children and I this evening and yet again being a huge support to me."

Gemma added that she had misjudged Morag and said she was "so sorry". She said: "I am so sorry I believed the character they portrayed you to be because you’re not a b*tch. Not even one part of you! You’re kind and honest and would give anyone anything and all you ask for is friendship and respect. Love you moo."

Morag, who was widely criticised for her treatment of Luke during the show, replied. She said: "Stop it, thank you my darling that honestly means so much. I didn't even think I was even that helpful but always nice to see you. And I'll be popping in more often with my words of wisdom xxx"
