E4 has announced a major shake-up to the latest series of Married at First Sight UK with the introduction of four new singletons. The seventh season of the popular dating show kicked off last month with 16 hopefuls, however, two new brides and two new grooms have now been added to the line-up.
The programme has confirmed the new couples will join the series on Thursday, September 15. The late arrivals are "set to shake up the experiment" as they get married at first sight.
Viewers have already seen the current couples go on honeymoon and move in together. In some cases, there is already trouble in paradise and the new arrivals could be set to rock the boat even further.

The newcomers are Sophie, 26, Gemma, 30, Matt, 32, and Johnathan, 32. Here's everything we know about them.
Sophie, 26
Location: Manchester
Job: Tech
Sophie is described as independent, financially stable and doesn't need a man to make her happy. However, she would love to find a soulmate.
She's spent the last seven years working hard in tech, climbing the career ladder to get to where she is now. Having lived in Manchester for the last five and a half years, she’s struggling to find men on the same trajectory as her, with the same values and goals, who won't be intimidated by her confidence and success.
Sophie said she is looking for someone who can live life to the fullest, both in their lifestyle and career. She's a romantic at heart, when the right person comes along, she’s ready to give 100%, let her walls down and work together to find love.
Gemma, 30
Location: Devon
Job: Hair salon owner
Gemma describes herself as "a bad b*tch". She’s fiercely independent, bold and a bit wild. The mum-of-two says she is outspoken, real, but incredibly loving. Gemma knows who she is, has endless self-confidence and prides herself on always standing up for herself.
Gemma says she is not afraid to stand out from the crowd and is never shy of male attention. However, she’s yet to find a man who can add substance to her life.
As a proud mother of two and owner of a successful hair salon, Gemma lives life to the fullest and feels she has it all except for one thing. She says she got close to a fairytale romance a couple of times, but now feels like she’s running out of luck and is desperate to meet a man who can sweep her off her feet and keep up with her antics in the bedroom.
Matt, 32
Location: Huddersfield
Job: Barber shop owner
Matt expresses his individuality through his unconventional look and style, which he said sometimes means people are quick to form a negative opinion. Matt has a heart of gold and would do anything for his friends and family.
Matt owns a successful barber shop in York, and whilst he has a talent for cutting hair, the most rewarding part of his job is having deep and meaningful conversations with customers, giving them life advice and positivity.
His friends describe him as an extrovert with a lot of love to give. He adores his two dogs, and when he's not hiking with them, he can be found in the gym.
He's always looking for the next adventure and would like to meet a woman who shares his passion for life and isn't afraid to try new things.
Johnathan, 32
Location: Selby
Job: Carpenter
Johnathan is a confident, spontaneous adventurer who often jets off by himself to go exploring. He doesn’t conform to the norm and very much sees himself as an outlier doing his own thing. When he is at home he works as a carpenter and has done since he left school.
With his life very much together, he feels there’s one piece of the puzzle missing. His longest relationship was two years, towards the end, Johnathan wanted to settle down but unfortunately it came to an end.
He says he’s very much ready to settle down and just needs the right girl – someone with a natural look who is easy going and up for an adventure." For more showbiz and television stories, get our newsletter here.
