Last week, Married at First Sight UK's Tayah Victoria welcomed her first child with MAFS co-star and husband Adam Aveling. Unfortunately, the 26-year-old appears to have had very little time to celebrate as she has now returned to hospital.
On Saturday, October 15, Tayah issued an update on her Instagram Stories, revealing that she is currently in hospital being treated for mastitis, joined by “aunty Em." Revealing her news, the reality star wrote: "Auntie Em came to visit this weekend but unfortunately spending quality time in the hospital as I have mastitis."
Meanwhile, it seems that husband Adam, also 26, has been adjusting to his parental duties and posted a picture of himself cuddling baby Beau as the Liverpool FC fan watched his team take on Manchester City at Anfield on the TV. "Spending the weekend in hospital again. So Beau is watching her first Liverpool game right here with me," he wrote.

Manchester Evening News reports how Adam then reassured his followers: "Beau is fine btw. Tay has a nasty case of Mastitis, but is on the mend." According to the NHS, mastitis is when the breast becomes swollen, hot and painful. It's most common in breastfeeding women, but women who are not breastfeeding and men can also get it.
Tayah and Adam first met on the 2021 series of Married at First Sight UK, which sees singletons marry strangers after meeting for the first time as they walk up the aisle. Earlier this year in April, the pair revealed that they were expecting their first child.
At the end of the 2021 series of Married at First Sight UK, Adam proposed to Tayah for real during their final vow renewal. The pair had planned to tie the knot later this year, the same date that both their parents married due to the one seen on the show not being legally binding. But with their little one due just five days later, the couple decided to push their nuptials back by a year. The pair announced the birth of their first born last week.
