Married At First Sight UK has already seen its fair share of drama this year.
So far two couples have left the Channel 4 show – with one contestant saying appearing on the programme is the “biggest regret” of her life.
And more couples are on the rocks as we speak as the series continues with accusations of cheating, ‘wife swapping’ and doubts over commitment issues.
But even if true love didn’t blossom onscreen, we still want to know more about this year’s cast members and have a nosy at their Instagram feeds.
Here’s everything we know about the Married At First Sight UK 2022 contestants from their social media accounts – and how you can follow them.
Jess
Jess Potter is a 31-year-old dental hygienist from Cambridgeshire who described herself as “unique and weird, but extremely fun and outgoing”.
She was paired up with Pjay Finch, but wasn’t impressed with his job as a Dreamboys stripper. When the show first aired Jess revealed she had been sent death threats on social media after airing her opinions about Pjay’s job. The couple failed to get past the friendship stage and decided to leave the show as friends.
On her Instagram feed, which has 25,000 followers, Jess reveals she is set to appear in series 2 of Netflix dating show Sexy Beasts which starts on October 7. Follow her @jesspotter_xx
Pjay
Ripped Pjay Finch is a 31-year-old dancer and stripper from Birmingham who is part of the touring cast of Dreamboys.
Although wife Jess appeared to light his fire - and he even said he would quit stripping for her - their romance never got started and they were one of the first couples to leave the 2022 show.
He currently has over 31,000 followers on Instagram. Follow him @pjayfinch
Richie
Musician Richie Dews is 51 and hails from Sheffield. Yet despite working in the music industry, and more recently as a sales adviser, he claims to have never been in love.
He was paired up with twice married Lara Eyre and things looked promising for the couple – with Richie even saying she could be ‘The One’.
But they both chose to leave the experiment after Lara said she wanted someone with more life experience when it comes to relationships.
Prior to appearing on Married At First Sight UK, Richie appeared on Paddy McGuinness’ dating show Take Me Out. He was also in 1980s rock band Dare.

Lara
Lara Eyre is a waitress and former dancer from Nottingham who had two husbands before she appeared on Married On First Sight UK. She also has two sons.
But things didn’t work out with new husband Richie when she discovered he had never been in love and still lived at home with his parents despite being in his fifties.
She claims to have once dated a Hollywood star who appeared in Sons of Anarchy, but has stopped short of revealing her exes name.
The 49-year-old often posts sexy snaps on her Instagram feed. On her bio she simply writes: “Livin it lovin it.”At the moment she has 11,000 Instagram followers. Check what she’s up to @thelaraeyre
Kasia
Kasia is a 36-year-old businesswoman from London who left school at 16 to have her first child. She is now a mum-of-two. She lists herself as an entrepreneur on Instagram and owns her own body contouring clinic.
She was paired up with Kwame, but so far their romance has failed to take off as he refuses to be intimate with her.
It got the point where viewers called out his behaviour towards his wife – and claimed he was just on the show to find fame.
Currently Kasia has 11,000 followers on Instagram and often posts glamorous shots on holiday and in the capital. Follow her @kasia.london
Kwame
Kwame Badu is 42 and from London who was matched with Kasia – but from the moment she walked down the aisle he said she wasn’t his type.
Describing himself as a ‘public figure’ on Instagram, he also lists himself as ‘Talk Show Host Public Speaker Entrepreneur’.
He has over 21,000 followers and you can find him @kwame.badu
Duka
Viewers might have been wondering where Duka Cavoli hails from – and we can confirm he fled the war in the former Yugoslavia to come to the UK when he was 10 years old.
The 31-year-old is a recruitment HR coordinator who now lives in Birmingham and says he doesn’t mind being called ‘Duka or Dukes’ on his Instagram feed.
He was paired up with Whitney on the show, but so far things have been far from plain sailing for the couple who seem to clash over everything.
But if it doesn’t work out, Duka is pretty popular on Instagram and now has close to 40,000 followers. Find him @dukacav
Whitney
Whitney Hughes is 31 and from St Albans in Hertfordshire. She works as a legal personal assistant and tragically lost her mum, 55, in a car accident in 2019.
She received backlash for the way she has been with husband Duka – never really giving him a chance - and at one point threatened to quit the show. The judges convinced her to stay and identified that she has often self-sabotaged her relationships in the past.
And it looks like she could be heading down that path again. Spoiler alert: She is set to cheat on Duka with new boy Matt in upcoming episodes.

Jordan
Jordan Emmett-Connelly is a 29-year-old account manager from Darlington who is in this year’s strongest couple with Chanita.
He said he wanted to find true love and a real connection – and it looks like he might have actually got his wish, as so far their match seems perfect.
Although the show is still airing on Channel 4 despite being filmed six months ago, he has already got himself an agent which suggests he has bigger career plans afoot.
So far he has amassed more than 26,000 followers on his Instagram account @jordanemmettconnelly
Chanita
Social worker Chanita is 29 and hails from Derby in the Midlands and is already a pretty big deal on Instagram with close to 40,000 followers.
While she still seems loved up with husband Jordan – we’re keeping our fingers crossed this one works out – she could have a career as an influencer in the future.
Her Instagram bio says: “Here just being me, the best is yet to be” and prior to being on the show she had just come out of a 10-year relationship. Follow her @chanita_x
Adrian
Adrian Sanderson is a 37-year-old graphic designer from Manchester who was matched with Thomas in one of this year’s first gay pairings.
Known for his floppy curtains that weirdly suit him despite being a Nineties throwback, his Instagram feed says: “Just trying to prove blondes have more fun.”
Although he seems to be getting along with husband Thomas, the pair have had their fair share of fiery arguments on the show, so whether they will stay together remains to be seen.

Thomas
Adrian’s husband Thomas Hartley is a 31-year-old mental health care assistant who comes from Liverpool.
He describes himself as a ‘Scouser’ and ‘social health activist’ on his Instagram feed – and has amassed an impressive 46,000 followers since appearing on the show.
Known for his outbursts, his relationship with Adrian is never short of drama and he has even had rowing matches with fellow co-stars.
But the public seem to find him entertaining and he already lists an agent on his social feeds. Follow him @thomashartleyofficial
Jenna
Jenna Robinson is a zero waste shop owner who is 32 years old and lives in Blackpool.
On Instagram she describes herself as “the gay vegan one on @e4mafsuk” – and although she was initially happy to be paired with Zoe, it’s her veganism that has caused problems between them.
It remains to be seen whether the two can work out their food issues, as meat-loving Zoe says she will never go vegan.

Zoe
Zoe Clifton is a 30-year-old quantity surveyor from Stafford in the West Midlands who describes herself as “just a needle in a gaystack”.
She seemed pleased when she first saw wife Jenna walk down the aisle – but their clash over eating meat started during their honeymoon to Iceland and has yet to be resolved.

George
George Roberts is a 40-year-old financial advisor from Worcester who married April in this year’s series. He has previously been married before and has four kids with his ex-wife.
Things started off well for George and April – until she kissed another woman in a hot tub on their honeymoon in a game of ‘truth or dare’ – which didn’t go down well with her husband.
Despite that hitch, the couple seem to be working through their issues and have both admitted “falling hard” for each other on the show.

April
Luxury fashion designer April Banbury is 32 years old and lives in London. She is a former Miss Great Britain, as well as a trainee pilot.
Her Instagram account says she is also an ambassador for mental health charity S.E.E.D in Lancashire and BulliesOut UK.
The self-confessed daredevil revealed her friends joke about her being ‘always the bridal designer, never the bride’ – but could she have found true love with George?

Gemma
Gemma Rose tied the knot with Matt Murray as one of the new couples to come on the show – but already things have started to go wrong.
The 30-year-old from Devon has been seen in tears on numerous occasions and new husband Matt even accused her of performing a sex act in a restaurant on their honeymoon.
She hit back saying she was “not a sexual predator” and claimed the show had been edited to make her look bad.
The hairdresser, who is CEO of her own company @gemrosehair, has 21,000 followers on Instagram. Find her @reallifeofgemrose
Matt
Gemma’s husband Matt is a barber and aspiring tattoo artist from Huddersfield who is 32.
He said he is “always looking for the next adventure and would like to meet a woman who shares his passion for life and isn’t afraid to try new things”.
But if reports are true he is set to cheat on Gemma with co-star Whitney, who is married to Duka.
Matt currently has 31,000 followers on Instagram under the account @matt_b_murray
Sophie
Another new couple on this year’s show are Sophie and husband Jonathan, who joined in the last few episodes.
Sophie Brown is 26 and although she lives in Manchester now, she was born in Cheltenham.
She describes herself as a ‘woman in tech’ on her Instagram account, which has just shy of 10,000 followers. Find her @sophiehlbrown
Jonathan
Jonathan Wileman is a 32-year-old carpenter from Selby in North Yorkshire who tied the knot with Sophie.
He has less than 7,000 followers on Instagram making him the contestant with the smallest social media following at the moment, but he’s only just joined the show.
In his bio, he says his interests include travel, fitness and nature – but he has already rubbed viewers up the wrong way by saying he would dump someone if they put on weight. Follow him @jonathanwileman
