Married At First Sight stars Matt Murray and Marilyse Corrigan have confirmed their romance after weeks of speculation, as they’ve gone Instagram official.
The pair finally addressed their speculated relationship in a photo posted on Instagram on Thursday, showing them sharing a blissful kiss in a restaurant.
Murray, 32, appeared in the latest series of the E4 reality show, which finished in October, while Corrigan, 38, featured in the 2021 series.
Rumours of the pair dating sparked after they were spotted last month jetting off to a luxury resort together. Murray and Corrigan each denied a romance at the time, saying they were just friends.
Following their romantic confirmation this week, Murray wrote beside the photo shared: “Reality TV is not the real world. This is.”
He added: Good came from the bad”.
A PR for Murray and Corrigan addressed their relationship to OK! in a statement: "Since their holiday their friendship has developed and their relationship has blossomed naturally, they are both extremely happy and are grateful to all the supportive comments they’ve received so far."
The romantic photo posted by the couple has received comments of praise from fans.
One person wrote: “Love this, can I just say I think you both look awesome together. Everything happens for a reason and you both deserve every happiness x x”.
A second said: “Do whatever makes you happy do not worry or care what’s others will think or say it’s your life you live it exactly how you want to as long as your happy!”
Someone else commented: “Absolutely love this, your both perfect for each other”, as another added: “That post looks like 2 people are bloody comfortable & smitten...be happy & enjoy xxx”.
The MAFS stars’ representatives told OK! shortly after their joint trip last month, that they were “just friends”, and that Corrigan had provided support for Murray after a “traumatic experience” on the E4 show.
Murray initially married contestant Gemma Rose at first sight, before forming a couple with Whitney Hughes contoversially, who was married to someone else, midway through the series.
The couple appeared strong by the end of the experiment, however were revealed to have split in the reunion episode.
Corrigan, who has two teenage sons from a previous relationship, was married to Franky Spencer in last year’s series, but the pair did not work out.
