Married At First Sight UK stars Matt Murray and Marilyse Corrigan have confirmed they have split after rumours about their relationship. Both of them have taken to social media to address their break-up - just weeks after speaking about wanting to get married and have children together.
Their romance had blossomed after bonding over their experiences on MAFS, in which couples paired by relationship experts meet for the first time on their wedding day, reported the MEN. Matt, 32, was on on the E4 matchmaking reality show last year - his turbulent marriage to Gemma Rose failing as he struck up a romance with co-star Whitney Hughes - while Marilyse, 38, appeared in 2021 paired with Franky Spencer.
Now, the pair have called it quits on their relationship - confirming the news in response to questions from fans in recent weeks. Marilyse, from Beverley, Yorkshire, said on her Instagram Stories: "I''ve received multiple messages asking if Matt and I are still together."

She continued: "Out of respect to you guys and the support you’ve given us, of course it’s only fair to be clear. So the answer to this is no we are no longer together anymore but I do wish Matt all the best for his future."
Matt, from Huddersfield, then share a video message on his own Instagram Stories, saying: "As a lot of you have probably just seen on Marilyse's story, no we are not together anymore. We decided to leave it there."
He added: "We are maybe just a little too different. But again I just wish Marilyse all the best in the future. It just is what it is."
It comes after the couple had spoken to OK! Magazine last month about wanting to have children together. On the subject of whether they could see themselves getting married, Matt said: "For me, the future of our relationship is extremely bright".
He went on to say: "It’s like having your best friend and your partner in one person." Marilyse added: "Yeah, I haven’t been engagement ring shopping yet because I already know the style I want - a Haribo ring will do just fine."
