After appearing on the 2022 series of Married at First Sight, where he caused a lot of drama, Matt Murray has now confirmed his new romance with a previous Married at First Sight contestant. Earlier in 2022 Matt and Marilyse Corrigan, who appeared in the 2021 series, were spotted enjoying a holiday together in Turkey and now they have gone official with their relationship.
Having initially denied they were in a relationship they have confirmed they are a couple with a sweet Instagram post after saying they were not in a "wife swap", as The Mirror reports. Taking to Instagram Marilyse posted a photo of the two cuddling with the caption "Happy!" and Matt shared the personal trainer’s post to his Story, simply writing: “This.”
Their relationship comes after Marilyse defended Matt, after his antics which included cheating on his first wife, meant he was not well-liked by viewers of the show. In an exclusive chat with the Mirror, the personal trainer explained: "I know he's not coming across great on the TV but I do really like him...I think he's got a soft side and is very to down to earth and he's a Yorkshire guy as well!"
