Married At First Sight stars Matt Murray and Marilyse Corrigan have broken their silence on dating rumours.
The tattooed barber, 32, and Marilyse, 38, who starred in last year's series, sent tongues wagging when they jetted off to Turkey together - sparking speculation the pair were romantically involved.
But now both Matt and Marilyse have come forward and firmly shut down dating rumours, insisting she has been nothing more than a "supportive friend" to him after his tumultuous relationships on the show.
Breaking their silence, Marilyse's representatives said: "Marilyse has gone to recover from a marathon which she ran for Kidney Research recently and she’s celebrating with her son that it's a year since donating her kidney to save his dad’s life.
"Matt has gone to recover from the trauma of the show, as you’ll have seen last night it’s taken a toll on his emotional wellbeing.
"Marilyse knows oh too well how the public reaction can impact the mental health of the men on the show as she saw how it impacted Frankie.
"So she’s being nothing more than a supportive friend to him whilst other friends from the show are filming the Christmas reunion."
Meanwhile Matt's clarified he remains friends with Whitney Hughes - who he dated on the show - amid rumours they are reuniting.
They said: "Matt and Whitney are not pursuing a relationship, they remain friends and have been since the final episode filmed in June. Matt wants nothing but the best for Whitney and hopes she finds the happiness deserves.
"Many fans of the pair will no doubt be saddened by this news, but due to the heartbreak Matt and Whitney felt with the break up, witnessed by fans of the show on Tuesday night's episode of Married At First Sight, Matt wants to squash these rumours and make it clear he did not start them.
"It is claimed a source 'close to Whitney' has spilled the tea, but there is simply no truth in it."
Matt caused a stir when he decided to end his marriage with Gemma Rose after realising he had feelings for Whitney.
The tattooed barber and PA Whitney, 31, sent sparks flying with their chemistry as they left the experiment, dumping their partners, and returned as a dating couple after permission from the experts.

Marilyse defended Matt shortly after he was seen ending his romance with Gemma during a heated dinner party.
In an exclusive chat with the Mirror, the personal trainer explained: "I know he's not coming across great on the TV but I do really like him.
"I think he's got a soft side and is very to down to earth and he's a Yorkshire guy as well!"
Last year, Marilyse was matched with Franky Spencer, who became a controversial figure on the series, who was labelled 'controlling' by viewers.
Their marriage wasn't to last but the pair remained friends following their time on the experiment.
Following backlash over Franky's behaviour on the show, Marilyse insisted to the Express: "The reaction from the public was just insane, I was receiving messages after messages from women on Instagram saying to me like 'please leave him' and 'my ex was like this' and it was really awful to be honest.
"I appreciate the women who cared about the situation but at the same time, I did feel really, really bad for Franky.
"He's a really harmless guy and it was edited for him to look the way he looked."
