Much-maligned groom Harrison Boon from Married at First Sight Australia has kicked right off during the latest episode as Adam Seed made a surprise return. Adam had left the series in past episodes after he drunkenly kissed another bride, Claire, during a night out. The bolshy groom told the table: "I feel terrible for my actions that night. I was selfish in that moment. I wasn't even thinking about [groom Jesse]."
"And [Harrison's wife] Janelle," An angry Harrison interjected quietly. Adam, who has appeared on UK shows Dinner Date and Coach Trip, continued his offloading but Harrison was not done with the serial reality show star. Harrison asked: "What do you want from this conversation, Adam?"
Adam stressed he wanted the boys to know he was genuinely sorry about his actions. Calling Adam "defensive", Harrison said: "Just own what you did."
Adam exploded. He noted he was apologetic for "every aspect" including the gaslighting and the kiss itself. "You understand?" he challenged Harrison.
An unconvinced Harrison clapped back: "Just own what you did. You had an opportunity tonight." Harrison went further. "What I see is a guy who is willing to throw the boys under the bus to save himself," he observed calmly before repeating more loudly that it was a common trend for Adam. But Adam wasn't having it, throwing Harrison's criticism back in his face.
"I think it's time for you to start owning s***," Adam added, as Harrison stood and left the table, clearly furious. "Has someone got a mirror so I can hold it in front of Harrison's face?" Adam shouted, noting he was the one who had got a girl's number and thrown Dan under the bus. At this point groom Ollie started to slow clap Adam's clapback.
The girls, meanwhile, had a tame night out with Claire apologising to Janelle and Sandy making a much-welcomed return to the party. Catch up with MAFS Australia on All4. The show is continuing on E4 Mondays to Thursday at 7.30pm.
