Marlon Humphrey should be a Raven for life, and one significant development in making that wish a reality would be a future move to the safety position.
When healthy, Humphrey was a Pro Bowl cornerback. He has slimmed down ten pounds to 190, and despite talks about a potential move, the veteran confirmed that he’ll spend 2024 playing the outside and slot cornerback positions.
Humphrey said he’s always thought he’ll move to safety at some point in his career, but hes not had those discussions with coaches yet. Humphrey is preparing to play both inside and outside corner

Humphrey spent the three-day minicamp in street clothes nursing what head coach John Harbaugh deemed “nagging injuries,” but Baltimore’s top cornerback will be ready for training camp.
Humphrey missed the first quarter of the season after having foot surgery and then dealt with a calf injury down the stretch of the Ravens’ 13-4 season.
Humphrey played just 13 snaps in the AFC title game loss, and he’ll be needed for a Baltimore defense looking to replace defensive coordinator Mike Macdonald and linebacker Patrick Queen.
His move inside could be sped up with the arrival of former Clemson cornerback Nate Wiggins, a first-round pick.
