Former Premier League striker Marlon Harewood has said that his old side Nottingham Forest 'should be' in the top flight ahead of their Championship play-off final.
Forest beat Sheffield United on penalties after two legs to set up a trip to Wembley on May 29 to face Huddersfield Town with the winners guaranteeing a place in the Premier League next season.
It's been 23 years since the Reds were last in England's top flight, when they were relegated in 1999 and Steve Cooper's side are one game away, with Harewood saying that a team the size of his former club should be in the Premier League with the likes of Man City, Liverpool and Chelsea making the trip to the City Ground.

“For the city it would be amazing to win,” said Harewood, via BETDAQ. “It’s been 23 years since they were last in the Premier League – when I was there. Which is crazy. For such a big club they should be there or thereabouts anyway.
“Obviously they’ve got a great opportunity and hopefully they can win and bring Premier League football back to the city, where it needs the best Premier League teams coming to Nottingham.”
Harewood's quotes are similar to Ryan Yates', who said after the win over Sheffield United that he wants to welcome the Premier League's top sides to the City Ground week after week.
"We want Liverpool, Chelsea, Manchester United coming to the City Ground every week and we're not going to settle until that happens," Yates said.
