The cost of living is rising for millions of people across the UK with many looking to save money where they can.
Supermarkets are trying to help their customers with Iceland being one of the latest to offer financial help. Pensioners who are eligible for the voucher will be given a voucher for the sum of £30 which can be spent on food and "other essentials".
The voucher is part of a 'Summer Cheer' campaign which will run in 296 stores nationwide after the frozen goods company partnered with pensions insurance specialist, Rothesay, to roll out £1 million-worth of support to poverty-stricken pensioners.

And now one shopper is praising Marks and Spencer for giving out free fruit to kids as they go back to school, helping parents who could save money. The customer took to Facebook group, Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK to applaud the high street giant.
She wrote: "I saw this in M&S today what great thing for them to do."
The punter shared an image of the free fruit on a stand within one of the stores.
It seems others in the Facebook group are all for it, with many pointing out that other shops run similar schemes for those who don't have a Marks and Spencer store nearby.
One added: "Morrisons and Asda do this too."
Another posted: "It was all stopped due to Covid-19. I say welcome back to a bit of normality."
