Marks and Spencer shoppers say new bedding set is 'perfection'

Marks and Spencer shoppers are loving a new range of homeware products after the retailer shared a photo on social media.

Giving homes a 'designer look at an affordable price', M&S has collaborated with Fired Earth and launched a new collection. The Acapulco Amaya bedding set features earthy tones with embroidery inspired by Mexican coastal colours.

It's made from pure cotton and uses slub yarn which M&S say is soft and breathable. Reacting to the set, fans branded it as "stunning", "gorgeous" and "divine" in the comments section.

One said: "Now this is my idea of perfection." Another added: "This is beautiful embroidery on the bedding. The colours are gorgeous as well."

The set is priced between £79 and £109 depending on which size you need from single to super king. Ochre cotton pillowcases were also included in the Instagram post. They cost £15 for a pack of two and are also available in eight other colours including white, blue, green and navy, reports ChronicleLive.

The same colours can be found in the Fired Earth collection for fitted sheets, duvet covers and square pillow cases. However, the pillow cases have received mixed reviews from shoppers, with some not happy with the "very thin" material.

A throw is available in the Fired Earth range too. The Casablanca Collection Belvedere Throw costs £39.50 and comes in either chalky grey or navy blue. One shopper said it gave their home a "designer look at an affordable price", while others called it "gorgeous", "beautiful" and "stylish".

There are nearly 100 items in the Fired Earth range on the M&S website, from smaller homeware items like towels, bedding and cushions to furniture including sofas, beds and tables.
