Mark Wright says people 'wouldn't believe' how much he and Michelle Keegan 'pig out'

Mark Wright revealed his wife Michelle Keegan loves getting 'a Chinese takeaway and a curry' as he discussed their 'balanced' diets.

The 35-year-old and actress Michelle, also 35, are always sharing snaps and clips of their gruelling workouts and their strict diets on their social media pages.

The couple even founded their own fitness wear brand, Aytee7.

However, the two enjoy delicious takeaways on the weekends to treat themselves after working so hard.

"She loves a Chinese takeaway and a curry," Mark explained.

"We both have a very balanced life and we both work hard in the gym and stay healthy.

"I try to be as healthy as I can and live a balanced life."

He added to The Sun : "But at the weekend if you want to have a takeaway or eat some junk food do it because you need that balance in your life."

Brassic actress Michelle previously opened up about her workouts and diet, explaining how she exercises in the morning to 'get it out of the way'.

She does 45 minutes in the gym before getting on with the rest of her day.

Speaking to the Off Menu podcast, the actress talked about her love for food and how she thinks about it from morning until night.

"I am a massive, massive foodie. Food for me is life," said Michelle

"From the moment I wake up to the time I go to bed, I'm thinking about my food. The first thought for me when I wake up? Cup of tea. Biscuits!" she explained.

However, she is still fairly strict with what she eats during the week.

On a day-to-day basis, Michelle keeps her diet pretty healthy, explaining that she'll tuck into porridge or avocado on toast to start her day.

"Then for lunch, I normally have a protein base, whether it's chicken or a fish with veg," she told the Women's Health podcast, Going for Goal.

"I tend to stay away from potatoes around midday because I crash around 3pm if I have loads of carbs, and I get really tired…and then for tea or dinner, I always make seabass or salmon with soya sauce and a bit of honey on there, and then I have asparagus and broccoli."
