Mark Wright 's fitness app Live Wright is said to be facing a £20k loss after e-commerce company Catalyst Global was placed into liquidation.
The former TOWIE star, 35, started his fitness business during the first Coronavirus lockdown in 2020 with his brother Josh. The pair set up their company with the help of Catalyst Global, with the dream of encouraging others to get healthy.
The app offers hundreds of workouts and provides plenty of healthy meal plans to help transform people's lives, though it is now said to be affected by the collapse of Catalyst Global.
Paperwork from Companies House shows that the fitness app is owed more than £20k after Catalyst Global co-founder George Gazzard voluntarily put his company into liquidation.
This has been reported in a document called a Statement of Affairs.
According to The Sun, 79 individuals and companies are owed over £548k from the demise of the brand creation firm.
The Mirror has contacted a representative for Mark Wright asking for comment.
Other celebrities thought to be affected by the collapse of the business include Olympic swimmer Tom Daley, Love Island's Dr Alex George and author Giovanna Fletcher.
28-year-old Tom launched his knitwear brand Made With Love with help from Catalyst Global, while 31-year-old Alex had help from the brand to launch his range of self care products, Prescrib'd.
I'm A Celebrity winner Giovanna, 37, was assisted by the firm in launching her Happy Mum Happy Baby brand.
This isn't the first time reality star Mark has faced issues with his company.
Back in July, he lost a bitter legal row with a rival personal trainer, as both men were using the name 'Train Wright' for their businesses.
Mark hired lawyers months after fitness coach Jordan Wright tried to trademark the company name in May 2020, but a tribunal later ruled in Jordan's favour.
Mark had to pay £1,400 in legal costs and changed his brand to Live Wright.
Mark's workout videos include sessions with boxer. Tyson Fury and popstar Olly Murs.
The TOWIE favourite has previously opened up about feeling "depressed" as he trained to get a six pack to look like Bradd Pitt. He said the training was the "worst six weeks of my life."
Speaking to The Sun on Sunday, Mark said: "I don’t look like I’m starring in Fight Club because to get to that, it would just make me depressed.
"I did it once before and it was the worst six weeks of my life. Yes, it was the most ripped I had ever been.
"But I was constantly hungry and angry, so I’m not prepared to ever do it again."
