Mark Wright and Michelle Keegan are planning to secure their new Essex mansion with two-metre high gates, after Essex Council gave them the nod to go ahead.
Stanford Parish Council has told the couple, both 34, that they can install the gates but added that they have concerns about the style of the gate and hope that Mark and Michelle will consider changing it.
MailOnline report that the letter from Epping Forest District Council states that they have "no injection" to the application that they have "concerns about the style of the gate" and urge the pair to choose an "alternative style of gate more fitting to the surrounding rural environment."
The genetically-blessed pair bought their Essex mansion back in 2019, which they demolished and have been reconstructing to create their new forever home, which is thought to cost the couple £3.5 million to complete.
The palatial pad has its own Instagram account - allowing fans to follow the progress of the epic renovation project.
Two weeks ago, they called on their loyal fans to help them select which type of gates to have erected on their driveway.
Alongside a collection of snaps of different options, the post read: Honestly, can’t thank you enough for all your input so far. The majority votes has literally been the one we go for every time so we will continue to take your advice so If you don’t mind we will ask you on this.
"It’s a tough one this one as you may think 'it’s only gates' but it’s the first thing you see. We want to go black so what style do you think out of these? 1,2,3,4, or 5."
The account added: "Also company’s that see these posts have been reaching out and it makes our search so much easier. Any company’s that producer most of these gates please reach out in inbox. Thanks."
In December, reports emerged that fly-tippers targetted Mark and Michelle's new build while they holidayed in Mexico.
Piles of rubbish were dumped in front of their home, in photos seen by The Sun.

The images showed suitcases, old duvets and a chair have been seen strewn across the front of their home.
According to the publication, it is believed that the fly-tippers dropped all of their rubbish off on Boxing Day, and also ditched a fridge, bin and floorboards.
