Myah Walters caused something of a stir when she took a copy of her grandfather’s autobiography Wingin’ It in to her school for her teacher to read to her class mates during Black History Month last October.
Being told about the contributions which prominent figures like Dr Paul Stephenson, Dame Malorie Blackman, Lubaina Himid, William Robinson Clarke and Mary Seacole have made to British society proved to be fascinating for them.
