Mark Cuban Congratulates Trump On Projected Victory, Acknowledges Elon Musk

Former U.S. President Donald Trump departs Trump Tower in New York

On Wednesday morning, Harris surrogate and billionaire investor Mark Cuban congratulated former President Trump on his projected victory. Cuban also gave a shout out to billionaire Elon Musk.

Shortly after Pennsylvania was called in the Republican nominee's favor, Cuban posted on X, saying, 'Congrats @realDonald Trump. You won fair and square.' This development left little path to victory for Vice President Kamala Harris.

Cuban also extended his congratulations to Elon Musk, adding, 'Congrats to @ElonMusk as well. #Godspeed.'

Cuban mentioned Elon Musk in his congratulatory message.

Pennsylvania was called in Trump's favor, diminishing Harris' chances.

The 'Shark Tank' star had previously stated that Musk, a staunch Trump supporter, would not be able to have a cabinet position in a Trump administration due to potential conflicts of interest related to his businesses.

Last week, Cuban faced criticism after suggesting that former President Trump avoided campaigning with strong, intelligent women like former Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley. He claimed that Trump found such women intimidating and did not like being challenged by them. Cuban specifically mentioned Haley's stance on reproductive rights and how she addressed Trump's views on women as reasons for Trump's avoidance.

Following the backlash, Cuban admitted that his comments were a 'mistake.'
