Former Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene called for the removal of President Donald Trump through the 25th Amendment over his most recent threats to Iran.
"25TH AMENDMENT!!! Not a single bomb has dropped on America. We cannot kill an entire civilization. This is evil and madness," Greene said in a social media publication.

She was reacting to Trump's claim that a "whole civilization will die tonight" if the Iranian regime fails to reach a deal by the deadline he has given and is set to expire on Tuesday.
"I don't want that to happen, but it probably will. However, now that we have Complete and Total Regime Change, where different, smarter, and less radicalized minds prevail, maybe something revolutionarily wonderful can happen, WHO KNOWS? We will find out tonight, one of the most important moments in the long and complex history of the World. 47 years of extortion, corruption, and death, will finally end. God Bless the Great People of Iran!" Trump added in a publication on his social media platform, Truth Social.
So far, all negotiations seem to be unfruitful. On Monday he said that Iran's counterproposal to end the war is "not good enough," even though he highlighted that the fact that Tehran sent a response is a "very significant step."
Citing Iranian official IRNA news agency, Reuters reported on Monday that Iran rejected the latest proposal for a ceasefire, saying it wanted a lasting end to the war. The counterproposal has 10 clauses, including an end to conflicts in the region, protocol for safe passage through the Strait of Hormuz, the lifting of sanctions and reconstruction, the outlet added. On Tuesday an official told the outlet that talks about a lasting peace could begin only after the U.S. and Israel end their strikes, guarantee they won't resume and offer compensation for damages.
Iran also said it will deprive the U.S. and its allies of oil and gas "for years to come" if Washington crosses its "red lines."
Greene has been highly critical as of late, also saying he has "gone insane" over his threats to destroy power plants and bridges in the country.
"I know all of you and him and he has gone insane, and all of you are complicit. I'm not defending Iran but let's be honest about all of this. The Strait is closed because the US and Israel started the unprovoked war against Iran based on the same nuclear lies they've been telling for decades, that any moment Iran would develop a nuclear weapon," she said.
She is not the only one calling for Trump's removal. Democratic Rep. Ilhan Omar also did it on Monday. "This is not ok. Invoke the 25th amendment. Impeach. Remove. This unhinged lunatic must be removed from office," Omar said in a social media post.
