Trailing behind her, Mexican influencer and fitness coach Rodrigo Romeh claimed second place with a prize of $100,000, while regional mexicano star Lupillo Rivera took third place and walked away with $50,000.

The top three contestants defeated other 20. The list of whole cast of LCDLF4 included actor Alfredo Adame, influencer Daniela 'La Bebeshita' Alexis, Guty Carrera, radio personality Silvia 'La Bronca' Del Valle, Sophie Durand, Pedro 'La Divaza' Figueira, Leslie Gallardo, actress Thalí García, Carlos Gómez, Alejandro Fernández sister-in-law Mariana González, ex-Miss Colombia Ariadna Gutiérrez, Alana Lliteras, Fernando Lozada, Robbie Mora, Clovis Nienow, telenovela actor Gregorio Pernía, Cristina Porta, and baseball Dominican star José Reyes "La Melaza."

Maripily Rivera garnered great support

Already a beloved figure in her native Puerto Rico, Maripily's participation in "La Casa de los Famosos" has catapulted her to unprecedented levels of fame. Her dynamic and volatile personality endeared her to fans both on and off the island. Prominent Puerto Rican celebrities such as Johnny Lozada, Ednita Nazario, Grupo Manía, Tommy Torres, Ozuna, Olga Tañón, Giselle Blondet, and even Anuel AA rallied behind her on social media and television.

One of the most surprising endorsements from Mexican artist Christian Nodal whorecorded a message supporting Maripily. "Maripily, my love, I'll be waiting for you in Puerto Rico. Everyone, vote for Maripily," Nodal exclaimed.

Puerto Rico goes crazy for Maripily

The frenzy surrounding Maripily Rivera's stint in LCDLF4 has been nothing short of extraordinary. Puerto Ricans have expressed their support through various creative and enthusiastic means. Schools offered grade bonuses to students who proved they voted for Maripily, bars served free drinks in her honor, and communities held viewing parties for the show's eviction galas. Her image adorned costumes, decorated cars, and even billboards across the island.

This level of fervor hasn't been seen since the heyday of telenovelas, that once paralyzed entire countries. In Puerto Rico, experts are mentioning the madness that used to take over the island during the fights of beloved boxer Tito Trinidad.

Comparisons have been made between Maripily's popularity and that of Mexican influencer Wendy Guevara, who won the first season of LCDLF in Mexico. However, while Guevara represented a specific community, Maripily's appeal spans across all demographics in Puerto Rico, uniting the island in their support for her.

The impact of Maripily's success has also resonated throughout the Puerto Rican diaspora, particularly in the United States. In Orlando, home to the largest Puerto Rican community outside of the island, signs of Maripily fever were evident, with supportive posters even appearing during Bad Bunny's current tour.
