Margot Robbie has been seen for the first time as Barbie.
The Australian actress will play the iconic Mattel doll in a live-action film due to be released in cinemas next summer.
Dropping a teaser image of the new movie, Warner Bros Pictures released a photo of blonde bombshell Margot in character.
The 31-year-old is pictured sitting in a classic pink Chevrolet Corvette in front of what looks like the Barbie Mansion.
Wearing a blue and white polka dot headband and halterneck top, she cheekily smiles as she holds onto the top of the windshield of her soft top car.

Revealing the release date of the upcoming movie, the photo was captioned: ‘#BARBIE July 21, 2023 Only in theaters.”
The film is directed by Greta Gerwig, who wrote the script with her romantic and collaborative partner, filmmaker Noah Baumbach.
Margot is producing it under her LuckyChap Entertainment company – but don’t expect it to be your typical tale.
Although plot details of the film are still under wraps, the synopsis on IMDB says: “A doll living in ‘Barbieland’ is expelled for not being perfect enough and sets off on an adventure in the real world. A Live-action feature film based on the popular line of Barbie toys.”
Fans will be thrilled to know none other than Hollywood heartthrob Ryan Gosling has landed the part of Ken.
Joining the star-studded cast are Will Ferrell, America Ferrera and Sex Education star Emma Mackey, who played Maeve in the hit Netflix show.
Speaking about her role as the iconic doll, Margot said fans should expect the unexpected when it comes to seeing the story on the big screen.
She told British Vogue : “[The role] comes with a lot of baggage and a lot of nostalgic connections. But that comes with a lot of exciting ways to attack it.
“People generally hear ‘Barbie’ and think, ‘I know what that movie is going to be’, and then they hear that Greta Gerwig is writing and directing it, and they’re like, ‘Oh, well, maybe I don’t...”
In another interview with The Hollywood Reporter she said her goal was to give audiences “something totally different – the thing you didn’t know you wanted”.
She has also spoken out about how she wants the chance to put some positivity out in the world and be “aspirational for younger kids” with her take on the character.
Greta is best known for her directorial debut Lady Bird starring Saoirise Ronan.
While her latest film, the remake of Little Women, earned her an Oscar win and 11 nominations. This included Best Director, making her one of only seven women ever nominated for the award.
The live-action Barbie film is set to be released on July 21, 2023.
