Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur are likely to be alerted to the prospect of signing Borussia Monchengladbach’s Marcus Thuram this summer at a bargain fee. The three clubs have all held an interest in the Frenchman at some stage in recent transfer windows, and with his contract running down, he may finally be permitted to move on in the coming months.
As per The Athletic, as Thuram is approaching the final 12 months of his contract, the Bundesliga outfit will try to sell him in the next window for a fee of £10-15 million, rather than lose him on a free transfer in 2023.
The report adds that he came close to joining Inter Milan last summer and was on Tottenham's radar. Arsenal are thought to have previously considered him and the Sochaux youth product has been admired at Chelsea, although they reportedly had reservations about working with his agents.
