NEW DELHI: Marcus Stoinis etched his name in IPL history with a stunning performance, crafting the highest individual score in an IPL chase. With nerves of steel and impeccable timing, Stoinis showcased his batting prowess, guiding Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) to a stunning six-wicket victory over Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in their own den.
With this knock, Stoinis eclipsed Punjab Kings, formerly Kings XI Punjab, batter Paul Valthaty's memorable innings of 120* in 2011, also against CSK, to script history. Stoinis remained unbeaten on 124 which came in 63 balls with the help of 13 fours and six massive sixes.
