Veteran Boston Celtics point guard Marcus Smart has made a career out of being in the right place at the right time, but the Flower Mound native has outdone himself this time.
In a recent tweet, Children’s Wisconsin Hospital shared Smart supplied their Infusion and Dialysis areas with a pair of smart carts.
The carts in question are chock full of Nintendo Switch Lites, tablets, games, and other items to help keep young patients busy while they are treated. Smart evidently put it together in honor of Milwaukee Bucks star floor general Jrue Holiday and his wife, Lauren.
The Celtics star had a little help in the venture. His Young Game Changer organization worked with the Bucks, the Milwaukee Bucks Social Responsibility Department, Lenovo, Nintendo, AVer Information and the Holiday family.
Marcus recently donated two “Smart Carts” to Children’s Wisconsin in honor of our beloved Buck Jrue Holiday and his wife, Lauren. The carts — loaded with Nintendo Switch Lites, tablets, games and other items — will help kids in our Infusion and Dialysis areas. pic.twitter.com/4KHDCnBlS1

While Holiday and Smart may be opponents on the court, this is one teaming both managed to win.
