Marcus Rashford insists England won't be distracted by the ongoing transfer speculation surrounding Manchester United targets Harry Kane and Declan Rice.
United forward Rashford linked up with his pair of Three Lions team-mates this week and could also spend next season alongside the duo at Old Trafford. Kane, 29, is Red Devils boss Erik ten Hag's top striker target, although Tottenham are expected to demand at least £100million during likely fraught negotiations between the two clubs.
Rice, meanwhile, is poised to leave West Ham after owner David Sullivan confirmed that he'd almost certainly played his final game for the club. Arsenal are the frontrunners for his sought-after signature but United remain interested in the Europa Conference League-winning midfielder and have been since before Ten Hag arrived last year.
The trio, as well as plenty more Premier League stars who could be set for big-money moves, are now training at St George's Park ahead of England's Euro 2024 qualifying double-header against Malta and North Macedonia. Rashford and co will no doubt be keeping tabs on the latest developments but has assured fans that any transfer speculation won't distract the Three Lions.
"It's not the first time that this has happened," the Red Devils star told a press conference. "Every time it has happened, every player's just been committed to England once they've been here. That's what you have to do. You have to try and leave behind what's happening in your club career.
"Yeah, there'll be people doing stuff [about transfers] - I don't know, I've not spoken to anyone about it - but I don't think here's not the time nor the place to do that."

Both Kane and Rice are likely to be quizzed on their futures at some point during England's fixtures which could see Gareth Southgate's side close in on qualifying for next summer's European Championships in Germany. Kane last commented on transfer links after Tottenham's final game of the season in which he scored twice during a 4-1 victory over Leeds to finish on 30 goals for the Premier League campaign.
"That's part and parcel of being a footballer, especially when you're at the top of your game," the Spurs talisman told BT Sport. "I've just been focusing on this season and trying to help the team as much as possible. To score a couple today was nice, to finish that way, but all in all I'm just looking forward to a nice break and then a couple of games with England."
Rice remained similarly coy after triumphing in the Europa Conference League final against Fiorentina a week ago. "There's a lot of speculation going on about my future," the West Ham captain admitted. "There is interest from other clubs. That's out there.
"But ultimately I've still got two years left at West Ham. I love this club. I love playing for this club. There hasn't been nothing yet so my focus is playing for West Ham, enjoying tonight and seeing what happens. I'm captain of this club, I absolutely love it to pieces. I cannot speak highly enough of this place and let's see what happens."
