Marcus Rashford has not been included in Manchester United's squad for their Europa League clash with Sheriff Tiraspol after missing training on Wednesday.
While no reason has been given for the 24-year-old's absence from the travelling party, the news comes just one day before England manager Gareth Southgate names his latest Three Lions squad for the final Nations League Games later this month.
Rashford has not played for his country since the Euro 2020 final defeat to Italy in July 2021 after struggling for form last campaign. He was overlooked by Southgate after failing to impress for United.

However, the Reds attacker - who has registered three goals and two assists so far this season - was set to be recalled to the England squad after making a strong start to the new season.
Yet, PA report that Rashford's possible England recall is in doubt after he did not travel with the United squad for the Europa League match on Thursday. The report adds that his inclusion is under threat due to an unspecified injury.
The Three Lions face off against Italy and Germany later this month in their final Nations League group games - with players having just two more international games to impress Southgate before he selects his squad for the World Cup in Qatar later this year.
With United's game against Leeds postponed this weekend, the match against Sheriff will be the last game for Erik ten Hag's side until they resume Premier League action after the international break.
The Reds are looking for their first points of their Group E campaign after losing to Real Sociedad at Old Trafford last week.
