The New England Patriots’ offense was doing nothing on Saturday against the Cincinnati Bengals.
It was up to the defense to get the Pats on the scoreboard and rookie DB Marcus Jones delivered.
Joe Burrow threw a third-quarter pass on his back foot and it went directly to the speedy Jones.
Jones collected the interception and returned it 69 yards for a touchdown.
However, Nick Folk missed the extra point and New England was still down 22-6.
Jones has scored on defense, offense, and special teams for Bill Belichick.

It was the sixth defensive TD of the season for New England, equaling team records set in 2003 and ’07.
