Marco Silva has hailed Jesse Marsch as a 'very good manager' ahead of the two head coaches first ever meeting against each other on Sunday. Silva takes his Fulham side to Leeds United with the two clubs on a very different trajectory in the Premier League at present.
Leeds have picked up just two points from their last seven matches which has seen them plummet to 16th in the table, while Fulham will be full of confidence as they sit ninth after a comprehensive 3-0 win over Aston Villa on Thursday. Marsch is under increasing pressure following the recent run of results, which was compounded by a 2-0 defeat at Leicester City earlier this week.
Despite Leeds' poor run of form, though, Silva praised his opposition counterpart in his pre-match press conference and revealed that he is expecting a 'tough' test at Elland Road.

He said: “It will be the first time that we play against each other. Passion, is the first thing that I can see. I can feel it, even on the touchline, how he feels during a game.
“He’s trying his best for his team, he’s a very good manager. Last season he had a good impact on their squad when he came after [Marcelo] Bielsa. They lost some players but they did well in the market as well, they signed very good players, young players with very good quality.
“It will be tough for us but we will challenge a good side. I think it will be a good game.”
