March's best video game releases featuring The Last of Us and WWE 2K23

March is set to be an enticing month for video game releases, featuring a range of titles from well-established franchises to original productions.

Fans of TV series The Last of Us will be delighted to know that the video game it's based on is getting a release on a new platform. There are also sports based titles, gripping first-person crime and horror titles and colourful adventure tales.

Whatever type of gamer you are, there is something here for everyone.

Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty

This action role-playing game is based around a solider fighting demons in a dark twist on the Three Kingdoms period of Chinese history.

Release Date: March 3 via PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S

Valheim

Originally released on PC, Valheim is being released on Xbox consoles. This is an exploration and survival game inspired by Norse mythology. Designed for 1-10 players, the aim in this purgatory-style world is to build weapons and battle with others in an epic sandbox environment.

Release date: March 14 via Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S

WWE 2K23

The franchise with WWE wrestlers has returned, with enhanced graphics and more WWE Superstars and Legends.

Release Date: March 17 via PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S

Bayonetta Origins: Cereza and the Lost Demon

A prequel in the acclaimed Bayonetta action adventure series, this origin tale allows you to play as both Cereza and Cheshire scouring through the Avalon Forest in order to save Cereza's mother.

Release Date: March 17 via Nintendo Switch

Tchia

In another sandbox, the tropical open world adventure is based around Tchia. She is on a mission to rescue her father from the cruel tyrant Meavora.

Release date: March 21 via PC, PS4, and PS5

Resident Evil 4

A remake of the popular 2005 title, this story is centred on Agent Leon S. Kennedy's quest to rescue the president's daughter in a apocalyptic European village.

EA Sports PGA Tour

Another sports franchise, EA Sports PGA Tour retains licensing rights for the Majors. A new feature is Pure Strike, which facilitates incredibly realistic shots on the course tailored to each individual golfer.

The Last of Us Part I (PC Port)

For years a PlayStation exclusive, The Last of Us is now coming to PC. This 'Part 1' is a remake of the original 2013 game, which the TV series is based on, and also features a prequel section entitled 'Left Behind'.

Release Date: March 26 via PC

Crime Boss: Rockay City

A first-person shooter, this game sees you play as Travis Baker who is aiming to do whatever it takes to become the crime boss of fictional Rockay City.

Release Date: March 28 via PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X
