When Jack Clarke was signed by Tottenham Hotspur for a fee in the region of £9 million, many concerned with Leeds United were disappointed at losing one of the club's highest-rated academy prospects.
Less than three full seasons later, and three subsequent loan moves, Jack Clarke has dropped into League One with Sunderland AFC in a bid to gain regular first-team football away from Spurs.
Clarke has impressed in Premier League 2 Division 1 for the North London club's U23 squad, but at 21 years old, needs senior football to continue his development.
